As the Winter Toy Appeal marks its monumental 10th anniversary, we find ourselves facing the most challenging winter yet. With the cost-of-living crisis hitting families hard, we urgently appeal to your generosity to ensure that children in extreme poverty experience the magic of Christmas.

Run by the Local Buyers Club in collaboration with Location Location estate agency, the Winter Toy Appeal traditionally brings joy to around 5,000 children in North and East London. These children, facing the harsh realities of extreme poverty, would likely go without a new gift if not for your support.
Jenna Fansa, co-founder of the Local Buyers Club, emphasizes the increasing need: “Year on year since we launched, the agencies referring to us have more children who meet the criteria for a gift. Poverty is worsening, and we cannot bear the thought that for some children, poverty is threatening to chip away at the magic of Christmas.”
