Hackney Foodbank is inviting the community to come together on Thursday 9 October 2025 for an evening of food, fun and fundraising at the legendary Mildmay Club in Newington Green.
This one-of-a-kind Hackney fundraiser promises not only a brilliant night out, but also the chance to make a real difference for local families facing food insecurity.
Why Hackney Foodbank Needs Your Support
Hackney Foodbank provides over 310,000 meals a year, alongside life-changing casework support.
With demand continuing to rise, events like this are essential to keep the service running. Every ticket and every auction bid helps fund vital work:
- £100 raised = 54 emergency meals
- £500 raised = 3 days of caseworker support
Your night out could directly help a neighbour in need.
What to Expect on the Night
Tickets are £80 each (plus booking fee) or £600 for a table of eight, including:
- A Humdingers feast – A sharing menu of mains, fresh seasonal salads, bread, dessert and a glass of wine, by caterers who also run a dedicated soup kitchen in Hackney.
- Special guest Asa Butterfield – Star of Netflix’s Sex Education.
- Live auction with money-can’t-buy prizes – From Michelin-starred dining and Eurostar tickets to luxury hotel stays, fine art, Rough Trade gigs, EartH concerts and sustainable fashion.
- Entertainment from Hackney’s best performers.
- An exclusive Aesop goody bag.
- A night at the iconic Mildmay Club – a venue so unique it’s hosted the likes of Kate Moss and Oasis this year.
