Estate agent Anna Takkou has been crowned the UK’s Best Valuer in the industry’s biggest awards.
The Sales Manager at Stoke Newington’s Location Location scooped the top award at the EA Masters ceremony, following a rigorous assessment of her sales successes, customer reviews and a grilling interview by industry judges.
For the sixth year running, the agency received gold awards for sales and lettings – ranking them among the UK’s top 239 agencies (out of more than 26,000) assessed.
Vicky Bibiris, a Partner at the firm, said: “Anna couldn’t deserve this recognition more – her sales transactions were, according to the judges, among the most outstanding in the country”.
“She was so overwhelmed to win but she kept it together. Anna has become so well-known in the industry for her brilliant social media content and, when she walked through the crowd to collect her award, everyone was cheering and high-fiving her. She is deservedly held in such high regard by a lot of people.
“We are so proud of the whole team – the judges of these awards look at everything; sales, the website, social media, the care we give our clients – these aren’t awards you can enter; they’re data-driven. To be ranked so highly in the UK is a real validation of our approach.”
Anna added: “Winning the award was an amazing moment and I’ve had so many lovely messages of support since. I’ve been quite emotional – for me it’s never about gaining recognition; it’s about doing the best I can for our clients. I would have loved to stay and party afterwards but I had a 9am valuation booked the next day!”
Location Location’s community and charity work was also mentioned at the event, which took place at Evolution in Battersea. The agency has been supporting Hackney Foodbank for more than a decade and is a partner in the area’s Winter Toy Appeal. At the awards, industry charity, Agents Giving, who awarded Location Location ‘Best Fundraisers of the year’, collected more than £10,000 for UK food banks.
