E5 Baby Bank is a lifeline for local families facing hardship. Based in Hackney, this volunteer-led initiative provides much-needed essentials—baby clothes, nappies, toys, books, toiletries, food and equipment—to families who are struggling to make ends meet.
A Vital Resource for Vulnerable Families
The families supported by E5 Baby Bank come from a wide range of challenging circumstances. Many are affected by the cost-of-living crisis. Others are refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, or women who have been trafficked. Some are new parents without a support network, or families still feeling the effects of the pandemic. What they all share is a need for dignity, compassion, and a helping hand.
How You Can Help
We’re proud to be an official drop-off point for E5 Baby Bank. The generous donations from our community go directly to families who need them most.
You can drop off donations to our office, Monday to Saturday. The items most in demand include:
- Nappies (sizes 4, 5, 6+)
- Formula (unopened, in date)
- Baby and toddler clothing (newborn to age 5)
- Shoes, coats and waterproofs
- Toys, books and baby essentials
- Toiletries for babies and parents
