Supporting Computers for Schools: Bridging the Digital Divide for Local Pupils
Access to technology is no longer a luxury – it’s essential to learning. The Computers for Schools campaign is working to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the tools they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. What began as an urgent response to the digital crisis exposed during the 2020 Covid pandemic has grown into a ommunity-driven initiative.
A Lasting Legacy of Digital Inclusion
The campaign was founded by Stephen Brown of Stephen J Brown Consultancy in memory of his late wife, Sam, whose passion for education and equality lives on in this work. Since its launch, the initiative has raised over £150,000 and delivered more than 1,455 laptops and tablets to schools in need, making a tangible difference in children’s lives across London and the UK.
How Location Location is Getting Involved
At Location Location, we’re proud to support Computers for Schools by donating a portion from the proceeds of every sale towards buying a laptop or tablet for a local school. Clients are then invited to nominate a local school to receive the device.
